Employers:
Q. Why post a job here?
A. Many of the job boards are saturated with thousands of jobs. Job seekers are like google searchers. They check the first 2 pages then get tired of searching the same posts. Here you have a chance to stand out with quality better jobs.
Q. Why is it free posting?
A. We like to encourage free job postings but will limit this soon as Better Canadian Jobs.ca is after quality jobs and projects. We are new but understand that connecting the "right" job seeker and job is strategic and marketing to the right person.
Q. Why would I pay for featured job posting?
A. Beyond the obvious that you are on the landing page where candidates are brought to first it allows you to show that you are a quality employer. Head-hunters fees are much higher for connecting applicants and we use this nominal fee to bring people to the website. We use these funds to help you today and next time you need a qualified applicant by improving the user experience on an ongoing basis. There is no sales pitch. We simply use logic with this answer. Jobs will be featured on the landing page for 30 days. During these 30 days we advertise the actual job to potential qualified applicants. There is a cost to this advertising and that is one of the reasons we have a featured job posting fee. It also allows you to support our improvements to ultimately benefit you as an employer.
Q. Who owns the website?
A. The site is owned by AuKa Media Group Inc. The company is operated by a Kitchener, Ontario Canada Based Businessman who operates Companies and understands what it is to hire qualified applicants. The process here on our site is meant to help reduce HR manager's time wasted during hiring by applicant filters implemented by the site. The filters help the applicants and the employer alike.
Q. Why do candidates have to pay when applying? This part is important to understand as it helps both sides.
A. The most frustrating part of hiring for a specific job is that 90 % of the applicants do not qualify with their experience and training costs skyrocket due to this. Hr spends hours and hours sorting through applicants who unfortunately do not have the experience needed to land and get working as part of the team. We have implemented the monetary filter on applicants. Applicants with not the right experience will not apply thus reducing the application numbers but increasing the qualified applicants. The sorting through time is reduced and now only serious applicants who have chosen to chow commitment and experience levels will apply to the specific jobs shown. From an applicant’s perspective this is a choice and logical decision. If they have the qualifications, they now must decide if they are just shopping or seriously considering the job. Any applicant you get via our site shows you that they have a higher commitment to the position and have the right qualifications. Not too many applicants will commit if they do not have the skills you need. Applicants also benefit by showing off their skills beside few applicants, not 200 others where their job application may not even be seen by HR because there are so many people applying.
This is a convent that may be new applicants but makes sense to connect job seekers to jobs that are higher quality and need a specific set of skills in any industry based on experience.
Applicants:
Q. Most important question you will ask is why would I pay the application fee which is by our website not the employer itself for applying?
A. We designed the site for quality jobs and part of that is jobs that may require certain skill sets that employers have chosen to indicate as a "must have". We have implemented a paid process because we want to connect job seekers and employers that are the beat match. From the applicant's perspective you are now competing against less people for a job that you qualify for based on the stated experience. You show the company you really want the job and have what they want. You also reduce HR time spent trying to find your application sorting through 5 applications vs 200. The chances of getting the job go way up based on this logical show or experience and commitment. You may choose not to apply. We encourage everyone who feels they qualify and wish to apply to do so but it is a choice on our website. The jobs are real and not posted by bots or agencies just collecting names. Should we be aware of any posting trying to abuse the posting just to collect names via applicants we will ban that poster. Our jobs are from real employers and real companies searching for team members.
Q. Why don't we see hundreds of jobs posted?
A. Our job board is new, and it takes time for employers to recognize the value in our service. We are marketing our website and with time more and more quality jobs will be posted.
Q. How can you help the website see more quality jobs benefiting job seekers?
A. Share the website. Create a resume profile let employers see the skills you offer. The more skills they see the more jobs will be posted ultimately benefiting every job seeking candidate.
Q. How do you protect my privacy as a website?
A. We want every user to post only what they are willing to share publicly. Do not post names and phone numbers in your resume profile. We hide your contact information only to show potential job seekers a chance at seeing the potential of job seekers who visit our site. They do not have an option of getting your information yet only what specifics you share freely. Again, our site will constantly improve this may change in the future making it possible for head-hunters and employers to contact you with security barriers to ensure you do not get slammed or breached but for now we only show what you allow us and hide all contact info.
